Major Duties and Functions Include: * The new position would be primarily tasked with managing all of the day to day activities of the eMA MetLife Sales Performance and eMA NEF Sales Performance projects. * This project is highly visible and is very important. * Every sales office within Individual Business uses this application religiously, every week. * The data reported through the application is used by sales managers to make key staffing, growth, and sales strategy decisions. * And, since sales are monitored weekly, it is imperative that the information is accurate and always accessible. * The primary role of this position will be to manage these two projects. * The individual will be tasked to manage the data sourced into the application, the individuals and processes that provide the information, the IT Application Development team that actually enter the data and program the front end reporting application, work very closely with the end users, which includes internal groups with Individual Business, ADG, A&H, MLR, and CAO, and the sales force. * The position would be responsible for all communications made the both field and home office users. * The individual will also be in charge of all training, support, and documentation of these two projects. * This involves creating word and PDF documents, developing web sites using HTML and ASP. * 30%% Manage IT Application Development team; ensure that new requests are being worked on and QA items are being tested * 30%% Manage Relationships with all of our various partners: Field Compensation; Product Admin systems; IB Marketing; Recognition; IT AD management; ADG Sales Force; Internal users, including compensation, e-New Business, metlife.com, etc. * 15%% Gather and understand business data requirements and interpret these into IT requirements, design, and perform User Acceptance Testing of business intelligence application solutions (i.e. MicroStrategy) * 5%% Analyze business data and assist users in understanding the information in the data warehouse * 5%% Develop ad-hoc queries and reports to support business data analysis and troubleshooting as required directly on relational databases using SQL and MicroStrategy as a front end tool. * 10%% Provide core user support, maintain documentation, and provide scheduled and ad-hoc training. * 5%% Maintain business intelligence application documentation and websites by programming in HTML and ASP What You Need to Succeed:

* BA Degree or equivalent experience. * 3 years experience in relevant business environment. * Self motivated individual who can take on multiple tasks and is very eager to learn. * Strong communication skills (both oral and written) * Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals to foster positive partnerships and work relationships. * Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word. * Technical skills working with Business Intelligence tools, including Micro Strategy, Cognos, Business Objects, and Brio a strong plus. * Experience working with relational databases, including SQL Server, DB2, Oracle a plus. * Must be very comfortable understanding and working with web based applications. * Understanding of HTML and server scripts are a strong plus.
