Description: As a business analyst, you will concentrate on the Securities Lending strategic architecture program. The role will focus on the user (client)community, and the effective communication and delivery of this program. The core responsibilities of this position include: developing a keen understanding of the unique business needs, securing a strong understanding of the end to end processes and responsibilities of all those involved in the business workflow, managing to the overall project plan, coordinating product delivery and distribution; consulting with the users to establish performance measurement criteria and upon agreement, create and maintain a program that tracks the criteria, working with the Program Manager to create effective communication of project activities as well as increasing interaction with the business. The Securities Lending business utilizes 4 global applications to view and process loan activity and collateral and manage loan positions. The Business Analyst will partner with the Business users and Technology to identify current and strategic needs and propose solutions, define and develop execution level business requirements. Business requirements must encompass front to back processes (trade capture, collateral & risk management, P/L reporting, billing, accounting, settlements & subsequent control reconciliations) in order to ensure and maintain the accuracy and substantiation of the data. The skills required for this position are as follows: . Previous experience as a business analyst for a Securities Lending or Securities Financing business is a plus . Business Process / Re-Engineering skills — Knowledge of Trade Date (T0) processes and their linkage to all downstream applications; Ability to identify creative solutions to achieve the strategic end state without creating undue control conflicts . Partnership skills — Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, Technology, & cross WSS functions (Ref Data, Risk, CFO, Legal, Compliance) to identify specific goals, business requirements, and/or issues and determine appropriate course of action . Influencing skills - Ability to engage, motivate and influence diverse project groups — project teams, peers, LOB sponsors, executive management; Identify and engage key stakeholders to ensure business participation and buy in of project deliverables .
