The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for creating new and managing existing relationships with financial advisors in Wirehouse, Regional Broker/Dealer Firms and RIAs. The goal of the RVP is to increase sales and revenue of Neuberger Berman Separately Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds and Alternative products in the territory. This is accomplished through individual and group financial advisor meetings, participating in client events and attending regional and national conferences. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: . Building and maintaining relationships with our current Broker Dealer firm partners in the territory . Developing new prospects and producers within the territory, maintaining all contacts in company database. . Maintain reporting for budgeting and expenses. . Make prospecting calls, creating qualifying lists and providing on-going service to existing and new clients. . Prepare, develop, and execute business plan for the territory. . Management of sales team (Regional Director, Internal wholesaler, Sales Assistant) to achieve territory goals. . Maintain knowledge of existing and new Neuberger Berman products and portfolios. . Other duties as assigned Requirements: . Strong organizational skills. . Ability to work independently. . Effective communication and presentations skills. . A minimum of 3 years of successful external financial services sales experience. . BA/BS degree or the equivalent in education and work experience. . Experience working with Wirehouse Broker/Dealer financial advisors is strongly preferred. . Series 7 and 63. . Extensive travel required. Some overnight travel required.
