Description: A large and growing Franchise is looking for an Area/Regional Manager to oversee approximately 10 +stores with various locations in the New York City area. They will serve as the main contact for operations between the franchisees and the Corporate offices. He/She will be responsible for assisting with the required job functions: - Provide operations and training support as needed to assigned stores by utilizing existing training programs, developing/tailoring training programs for franchisees specific needs and connecting franchisee with appropriate resources - Partner with franchisees to ensure successful store roll-outs and implementation of required company wide programs including new products, marketing campaigns, and training programs, etc. - Partner with training department and franchisee to ensure successful new restaurant openings - Conduct operations assessments for assigned franchisee restaurants - Provide documented summaries of all franchise visits detailing observations and any issues that arise and offer recommendations for solutions - Build positive working relationships with the franchisees and strong customer focus both internal & external; must be customer centric! Candidates must have: - 3-5 years of franchise or multi-unit restaurant management experience with a proven track record in the industry - Excellent project, planning and time management skills; strong leadership capabilities and ability to strongly influence people - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding financial goals; with the ability to create strategies for future forecasts. - Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - Ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing environment; problem-solver with "next-step" capabilities. - Advance computer knowledge: MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint - Willingness and ability to travel to the West Coast and to work on weekends as needed This day-shift, permanent position will require daily travel between various NYC locations and West coast for training and once per month.
