Who is our ideal candidate? Requirements: . Solid knowledge of mutual fund products, industry, investment strategies and concepts, including applicable SEC and FINRA regulatory requirements. . At least 4-6 years of experience in financial services marketing, or a combination of marketing and sales . Experience working with Wholesalers and Financial Advisors is required . Bachelors degree. MBA considered a plus . Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and timelines. . Proven ability to lead the development and production of marketing communications programs to meet multiple communications, audience and marketing objectives. . Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. . Demonstrated exceptional project management skill . Demonstrated track record of meeting rapid-pace, demanding client needs . Ability to manage multiple projects at one time . A genuine team player that believes in the power of collaborative work and interacts with co-workers in a collegial and respectful manner . Series 7 licensed helpful, but not required What are the job responsibilities? The candidate will be responsible for working with ING Retail Sales Professionals and National Accounts to formulate communication strategies, develop sales tools, create marketing materials and execute firm and channel specific campaigns. Primary Responsibilities: . Actively contributing to strategy development for the channel within a cross-functional team with key decision-makers and business leaders. . Leading the development of firm-specific marketing campaigns in line with ING Retails goals and objectives for the channel. . Promoting usage of materials with sales force and monitoring their effectiveness and use. . Creating and distributing co-branded print and electronic marketing materials, web content, promotional email communications, due diligence meeting strategy and marketing support, and commentary promotion (print, conference calls or video). . Adhering to legal regulations and industry practices regarding the marketing of investment management products and the distribution of literature. . Monitoring literature usage, inventory/fulfillment processes, and web sites. . Soliciting feedback on marketing initiatives from wholesalers in order to improve campaigns and provide communications that are timely and relevant. . Continuously communicate marketing strategies and initiatives to the sales force. . Drives analysis of marketing initiatives in terms of segmenting audience, evaluating target markets, and optimal positioning. Establishes and reviews metrics for promotional activities and campaigns. . Working with management, sales team, investment team and third-party vendors creates and oversees the implementation of complex marketing plans for focus campaigns, product positioning, value added programs, and new markets.
