Our Real Estate Construction Client is experiencing growing pains! They have asked us to source a project to permanent CFO/Controller level individual. The selected consultant will be responsible for all day to day accounting functions of the organization. Individual will report directly to the CEO. Individual must be able to work independently and make independent decisions while keeping management abreast of activities. Experience: CPA preferred. Consultant must have at least 8 years Real Estate Accounting Experience, preferably in the residential/construction area. Further, individual must have minimum a Bachelors Degree in Accounting with at least 5 years controllership/CFO responsibilities. Manage the day to day accounting operations. This will include but not be limited to: monthly closes, financial statement prep and review; manage and train staff and ad hoc reporting to Executive Management. Our consultant should be systems savvy. RE Construction and Project Accounting Experience is a key component to the success of the incumbent. Experience using Masterbuilders a plus.
