TheCatering Sales Directorwill seek, propose and sell profitable sales for the 1st & Fresh Catering organization.
Essential Responsibilities: * New business development & maintaining current business retention through creative problem solving and customer savvy * Initiate new Hospitality leads to grow overall services for 1st & Fresh * Build Brand Recognition and Credibility * Focus on External Client Contact and Customer Service Relations * Responsible for Sales Growth through both Marketing Strategies and Sales Goals * Successfully Build Alliances and Influence Key Decision Makers * Consultative Customer-centric Selling approach * Client Entertainment * Responsible for Proposals, Preparation and Execution of Full Service of Special Events * Supervise catering functions including booking, selecting and costing menu items, pricing, coordinating staff and equipment rental * Market Awareness in the Business Services Industry Daily Responsibilities: * Ensure that you or the Administrative Assistant make a follow-up customer service call with every customer everyday to ensure satisfaction and to service their future needs * Creatively seek new business opportunities building new relationships and distributing samples of our menu offerings * Setup Sales Calls with new and existing customers to showcase seasonal menu offerings and to plan recurring and future events * Establish our Brand in the Marketplace * Build alliances with other Lines of Business to establish new sales contacts * Daily Interface with Operations Team about upcoming events * Collaborate with Chef to thoroughly understand the menu; i.e. What you are SellingEnsure total daily accuracy and thorough distribution to operations team all catering service details (i.e. guest count, event/delivery time, payment). Verify that all event/delivery data is valid, current, and accurate.
Qualifications * Bachelors degree * 5 years Industry and Business Development Experience * Prior Experience selling into all aspects of Catering Services * True understanding of Strategic Selling * Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive * Excellent Organizational Skills (Time and Territory Management) with Strong Attention to Detail * Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills * Financial Acumen in crafting Proposal Documents * Poised and Sharp Presentation Skills * Leadership Skills in a non-reporting environment * Competitive Drive and Determination with a Focus on Results Orientation * Experience in all Microsoft Office applications required Expectations: * Profitable Sales Growth * Ability to effectively interface with clients, and associates
