Description: The Business Banker is responsible for the acquisition, retention and expansion of business banking customers in their assigned branch(es). This is achieved by proactively serving as the customer%%27s advisor and navigator throughout Chase and by engaging the full resources of the company to uncover and deliver solutions to meet the key objectives of all Business Banking customers. The Business Banker is part of the Business Banking group and is managed by an Area Manager that just works with the Business Bankers. Business Banking is a partner group to the retail branch network. The Business Banker is responsible for driving the Business Banking results in their branches for both portfolio and non-portfolio customers. This is accomplished by acting as the "subject matter expert" within the branch(es) they are assigned and by providing ongoing coaching to branch team members regarding Business Banking products and services. Goals are achieved through: - Gaining complete knowledge of business and personal financial needs of 100%% of assigned customers. - Conducting 10-15 customer/prospect "outside" visits per week. - Builds knowledge of all customers by completing in-depth profiling of the business owner(s). - Understanding the needs of their customers, recommends the appropriate product/services/advice solutions, resulting in a trusted advisor status. - Strengthening the customer%%27s relationship with the Firm through appropriate introductions to product/solution partners. - Ensuring service needs of the customers are met by handling requests directly and/or referring to appropriate service channels. - Proactively soliciting new business clients through cultivation of key referral sources. - Managing and utilizing internal relationship tools. - Meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicators, as established by Business Banking Financial Services, including but not limited to acquisition, retention, and customer expansion. In exchange for meeting goals, business bankers are paid a base along with generous uncapped incentive opportunities. Business Bankers get to hone their sales skills through one on one coaching with their Area Manager. Successful Business Bankers can grow into the Relationship Manager role, move into the Area Manager level within Business Banking or other areas of interest within the organization. Financial services experience preferred or completion of a Management Training Program in a financial services firm. . Relationship Management - influencing, advisory and acquisition skills required. . Problem Solving - superior problem solving skills required. . Communication - superior verbal and written communication skills required. . Bachelor%%27s Degree in a field related to financial services preferred.
