Posting Job Title Billing Specialist TimeWarner Division Time Warner Cable Industry Cable and Telecommunications Services Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 106385BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Customer Care Rep - Billing Specialist (English & Bilingual) SUMMARY Responsible for providing quality service to customers via phone in support of our cable, high speed and digital phone products and services in a call center environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Answers billing questions. Upgrades and downgrades service for existing customers. Processes customer payments and solves customer problems within company service policies and guidelines. Handles routine customer service calls, solicits sales of new customers and upsells services and features to existing customers. Responsible for input and retrieval of information from various databases and applications. Works with other functional groups to ensure customer satisfaction. CAREER ADVANCEMENT After an initial 4 week training program, as a Billing Specialist, you will perform the duties indicated above under the guidance of our New Hire Development team (an additional 4 weeks). During an additional 2 weeks of classroom training you will develop the skills and knowledge required to trouble-shoot our core products and provide basic technical support to our customers as a Product Specialist with an associated increase in salary. With our exciting Career Progression Program you can continue to increase your salary in a pay for performance environment with career advancement linked to individual performance and progress through various levels within Product Specialist and our more technical Advanced Services Specialist with a salary increase at each level. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Excellent communication, analytical and decision making skills.
