Description: Responsibilities for the Behavioral Case Manager include:

- Applying utilization review protocols
- Conducting concurrent and retrospective review of mental health and chemical dependence services to ensure the efficient delivery of behavioral health service to members
- Participating in QA/QI initiatives
- Serving as a patient advocate when necessary
- Maintaining adequate clinical documentation of case management activities

Required Skills:
- 3+ years of behavioral or psych experience
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in an insurance or managed-care environment
- Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- New York State Certified Social Worker
- New York State Licensed Social Worker
- Master’s degree in Social Work
