ABC NEWS DIGITAL MEDIA has an opening for an ASSOCIATE PRODUCER, GOOD MORNING AMERICA. Responsibilities include assisting producers with various sections of the website, generating story ideas, and managing content publishing across the site. The ideal candidate should have a strong editorial background and the ability to re-write television pieces into print/text form under intense deadline pressure. Additionally this position offers the opportunity to write and report original pieces. Candidates for this position must have the ability to work long hours including weekend shifts on rotational basis. A B.A. in journalism or a related field is preferred but not required. At least one year of professional writing/editing experience in a fast-paced, competitive news situation or online site is strongly preferred.
