RESPONSIBILITIES The AP/Duet Operator’s primary responsibility is the operation of the Chyron Duet broadcast television character generator. That includes fact and spell checking, inputting and playing text information within the production of live and pre-recorded programming for ABC News NOW.

Basic Requirements Education: 4 year college degree.

Number of Years of Work Experience: 1+ year live television newsroom and /pr control room experience.

Technical Skills: Thorough knowledge of PC operation and word processing application.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Degree in broadcast production or journalism preferred

Number of Years of Work Experience: 2+ years television control room

Technical Skills: Understanding of the operation of the Chyron Duet CG System is preferred

Non-Technical Skills: Understanding of the operations of a television news control room preferred
