JOB MISSION SUMMARY These are the professionals who help us build our business in the national accounts, middle markets, small group markets, distribution channel, group insurance and specialty products areas. Their goal is to meet customer needs and help them make better decisions and about their health care and health care spending. RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE - Develops and executes customer service strategy: Meets with customers at least quarterly to discuss service levels and expectations, share process improvements, discuss operation of benefits plans, identify gaps in service levels, determine root causes and develop solutions. - Identifies customer specific service issues, identifies solutions and leads resolution of issues working with other areas to implement. - Responds to customers requests for network analysis, benefit plan design changes, and benefit questions and clarifications. - Provides customer with network updates and analysis of impact. - Collaborates with account management team to achieve growth/renewal objectives; assists in preparation and delivery of renewal packages. - Leads cross-sell opportunities with SAM in the course of day-to-day renewal objectives. - Manages all plan administration activities, including installation, plan set-up, eligibility, billing and drafting by working proactively with support areas; signs-off on ID cards. - Manages open enrollment activities. - Promotes Navigator usage and implements strategies to increase usage. - Leads efforts to manage performance guarantees. - Notifies customers of Aetna policy changes, determining impact to customer and providing consultative support. - Supports scheduling of customer meetings and preparation for these meetings. - 3-5 years of (complex) client service experience preferred. - Bachelors degree desired or equivalent work experience. - Insurance license, as required by state law (or obtain licensure within 90 days). Additional Information (situational competencies, skills, work location requirements, etc.) Expert at maintaining customer accounts and knowledge of customer needs and business components. Strong team player, able to handle multiple assignments and responsibilities simultaneously. Excellent project management, organizational and presentation skills. Valid drivers license in good standing. Overnight travel as needed.
