Responsibilities: * Business requirements documentation and other business analysis support (e.g., document process and technology flows) as required as part of project management, development, business user, and vendor team work efforts for Regulatory * Work on multiple projects simultaneously * Update users regularly on progress with technology development * Build and foster strong working relationships with clients and other groups * Act as a liaison between Regulatory Reporting/Risk Control and Technology to resolve issues and expedite systems enhancement projects * Track outstanding issues and report to project manager on a regular basis * Management of the Issues and Enhancement Logs (Jira) undertaking prioritization sessions with the stakeholders to agree future release themes and content * Preparation and execution of test cases for User Acceptance Testing and provide users with assistance in all aspects of testing * Regular assessment of existing system functionality and identify control issues with existing processes. Requirements: * Bachelors degree in Accounting / Finance, or Technology preferred or equivalent experience * Excellent communication and inter-personal skills * Good problem solving capabilities * Strong organizational and analytical skills * Self motivated individual with mature attitude who works well in a team environment * Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision required to drive work efforts forward * Ability to work in high pressure environment with strict time constraints * Pragmatic hands-on character with delivery focus * The ability to learn new environments fast * Minimum two to five years of business analysis work experience with either in-house development or third party software solution providers * Prior experience in a client facing role preferred * Experience in the financial services and/or accounting industry preferred * Good understanding of Regulatory concepts, markets, regulator rules/guidelines (Basel II, Pillar 3, FED reporting, CSE) * Good understanding trade flows * Good understanding of PL and Risk * Strong computer skills: Excel, Word and Access / VBA programming skills with database skills highly desired
