Description: Posting Job Title Assoc Sales Development Mgr TimeWarner Division AOL Industry Advertising Brand Platform-A Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 105720BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description As a member of the AOLs Entertainment Sales Development team, youll help market some of the largest and most recognized online brands. We are looking for someone to assist with our Entertainment Sales Development efforts across our key entertainment sites including: Moviefone, TMZ, AOL Music and TV. This person will be responsible for developing and managing advertising capabilities and solutions to support and drive sales objectives against each of channels. Key functions of this position include: 1) understanding and translating marketplace needs into saleable solutions; 2) working with internal programming and ad operations teams to launch ad solutions; 3) communicating general sales positioning and ad solution information to the AOL sales-force; and 4) fielding RFP requests from the regional sales/sales dev teams and crafting relevant solutions. Overall, you should be an innovative thinker, a strong communicator; and most importantly have an interest and/or background in online marketing. Uses advanced knowledge to analyze marketing data and develop innovative advertising solutions across our Entertainment properties. . Acts as internal property expert and disseminates that knowledge to the AOL sales-force. . Partner with Sales Development leads to help solve complex problems with research and analysis. . Utilizes established marketing metrics to assess business performance and identify trends and needs. . Interacts internally/externally on a daily basis to achieve department/work unit goals and initiatives. . Demonstrates an expert level of knowledge of clients/partners marketing objectives as well as general business acumen. . Assists in developing strategies which utilize AOLs products/services to accomplish clients marketing objectives. . Works cross-functionally to take an active role in shaping new business initiatives. . Foresees potential marketing challenges and addresses them before they become issues. . Uses communication skills to negotiate matters where there are conflicting sources of information and opinions. . Helps develop, motivate and inspire colleagues throughout sales organization. . Understands AOLs business and the marketplace at a high level. Years of experience Required: . Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience. Education: .
