DESCRIPTION ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, SENIOR CREDIT OFFICER JOB DESCRIPTION: Prepare customer credit committee presentations for high risk or high exposure accounts which involves a detailed write-up of financial trends, potential risks, cash flow, sources of liquidity and overall risk profile. Handle a portfolio of high risk customer credit exposures. Conduct a thorough analysis of balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, financial projections, borrowing base certificates and debt structure. Calculate/estimate covenant tests to ensure that a company is in compliance with its debt covenants. Prepare various analyses involving calculating expected losses and quality of receivables on a quarterly basis. Analyze new business prospective client lists to determine if a prospects customer base and receivables exposure are acceptable to the credit department. Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting. Assist with development a probability of default (PD) risk management system for CIT businesses, where the PD grades correlate with the degree of customer credit risk. Serve as a methodology owner for the CIT Trade Finance division risk management system. Serve as a liaison between the Trade Finance business unit and Corporate Credit Risk Management. Communicate with internal auditors about the established risk rating methodology. Annual salary of $80,000 to $90,000. 40 hours/week (8 am to 5 pm). Other experience must include writing and preparing high-level business presentations; delivering presentations to senior management; negotiating with customers/clients; conducting complex analytical analysis involving cashflows, projections, covenant compliance as well as ratio and comparative analysis; knowledge of International credit standards, including Basel I and Basel II accords; and proficiency in software systems such as Moodys Financial Analyst. Must have current authorization to be permanently employed in the United States.
