Description: Responsibilities for the Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Compensation include: Evaluating compensation trends to ensure the firm is market competitive through the analysis of employee data and compensation surveys Participating in the planning, design and implementation of compensation plans and procedures globally Acting as a key participant in the year-end salary review and incentive compensation processes Conducting analyses and providing feedback to ensure equity and consistency Engaging with line management to understand changing business needs and possible compensation implications Ensuring compensation policies are current Understanding tax implications for each country Providing advice to HR professionals and line managers regarding individual compensation packages and other compensation-related issues Keeping the global HR team current on compensation policies and procedures and any related legal/regulatory changes Managing relationships with external compensation consultants on survey participation and special projects Participating in global benefits and international assignment projects Reviewing FLSA standards to ensure firm wide compliance

Required Skills: 5-8 years of global compensation and client facing experience Previous financial service experienceKnowledge of McLagan SurveysPrior exposure to compensation surveys and other benchmarking dataStrong Microsoft Excel Pivot Table, V-Look Up, and Macros skillsBachelors degree
