Position Description The Wall Street Journal Online seeks an assistant multimedia producer to shoot, edit and publish video, arrange and edit podcasts and build infographics and other multimedia elements. This successful candidate will work closely with reporters and editors for the paper and Website to spot opportunities to turn print stories into a rich multimedia experience online. Once these multimedia elements are ready to go, the assistant multimedia producer will be responsible for surfacing them on the site. Position Requirements Candidates must have a four-year college degree and at least three years experience as a journalist at a print or online news publication. Demonstrated proficiency with consumer and professional video cameras and FinalCut Studio is mandatory. Web-production skills are required. Knowledge of HTML/XML and Flash is helpful.
