Description: Job Title Art Director Auto req ID 921BR CBS Business Unit Showtime Networks Division/Station CBS Department Digital Media Location New York - New York Job Description The Art Director will work as part of the New Media team to develop Showtimes web sites in a manner that is consistent with network and department strategies and objectives. The Art Director is responsible for managing and execution of design and production of visual elements for SHO.com and other department initiatives that help position Showtime as a leader in next generation entertainment. Emphasis is placed on extending Showtime’s tone and manner into new distribution platforms through the innovative application of new and evolving technologies. Required Skills/Experience Must have proven design skills and be up-to-date in the latest tools and technologies appropriate for the development of all forms of interactive media, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Image Ready, Flash 9 and a working knowledge of HTML. Experience in video and motion graphics is considered a big plus. This position is not only managerial but also very hands on, so this position will require the following qualities:

· proven strong design skills (solid knowledge in layout, typography and storytelling) · be efficient, fast, accurate, organized and articulate in their communication · have the ability to manage others while handling his/her own project · inspire and share cutting edge knowledge and ideas with others · have clean and sophisticated sense of design Minimum Education Level Bachelors Degree Additional Candidate Instructions The Art Director reports to the VP of Creative but must have the ability to think and act independently and will be expected to represent department interests at internal and external meetings when necessary.
