DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Application Architect: * Designs, develops and implements all necessary Framework, Middleware Components, Interfaces, and Infrastructure for the new Central platform architecture. * Leads, designs, and implements an eCommerce architecture, platform, and/or set of frameworks that lead to abstract Application Modeling. * Leads Proofs of Concepts. * Provides Technical Writing and Documentation. * Mentors and does presentations. * Works very closely within various technology teams (i.e. Web Development, Mainframe, Business/Data Analysts, DBA, and others).
