This role will provide the ideal candidate with exposure to a wide range of primary, third-party syndicated and secondary research analysis. In this position, the candidate will provide both our national and local advertising teams with relevant research data. The ability to support sales with targeted category and client focused presentations as well as strategic analysis about key advertising opportunities will be paramount in this position. Responsibilities - Work closely with all the Ad Sales teams to support them with insightful research and analysis. - Be a strategic thinker and consistently look for ways to identify new business opportunities. - Create monthly report on key research trends using syndicated, primary and secondary data. - Create category/sales presentations positioning research to tell compelling stories/insights for agencies and clients. - Function as point person for all day to day ad sales research requests from national and local station sales teams. - Distribute published industry articles/reports with key findings. - Train salespeople on media research methodologies and applications. - Build strong communication channels with the full ad sales team. Required Skills/Experience Required Qualifications/Skills - 2-3 years experience working in media research at publisher or agency platform. - Experience working with syndicated research databases including ComScore, Nielsen/NetRatings, @plan, AdRevelance, Hitbox, Hitwise, Omniture, WebTrends, Scarborough, Media Audit, MRI, Simmons, Nielsen AdViews, etc. - Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. - Ability to extract and interpret data. - Proficient with Excel and Power Point. - Quick learner who is very team oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment. - Well organized, and able to meet deadlines with working on multiple project simultaneously. - Strong verbal and written communications skills. - BA/BS degree preferred.
