Position Description: We are recruiting an actuarial analyst. This person will assume responsibility for a wide variety of valuation and projection functions of individual life and annuity products. To fulfill this role, the actuary will work with a team of individuals with varying experience levels. Areas of Responsibility Assist teams in the following areas: ï?. Statutory, Tax and GAAP valuation ï?. Statutory, Tax and GAAP financial projections ï?. Model building for TAS projections ï?. New Business Profitability Analysis ï?. Mortality and Persistency Studies ï?. Participation in the annual business plan process ï?. Analysis and explanation of deviations of actual results from expected ï?. Special studies and projects as needed Take and Pass Actuarial Exams

Position Requirements Qualifications/Requirements: ï?. Between 1 and 5 actuarial exams passed ï?. 0-2 years of relevant work experience with demonstration of continually increased responsibility ï?. Must work well with teams, functions and levels, both internal and external to the company ï?. Excellent documentation and organizational skills ï?. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written ï?. Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision while meeting deliverable dates ï?. Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects ï?. Proficient in Excel and Access ï?. SQL knowledge is a plus ï?. TAS experience is a plus ï?. Pricing experience is a plus
