OVERALL SUMMARY Assist in the acquisition and tracking of all programming assets for HBO, Cinemax, HBO Video, HBO & Cinemax On Demand and all International Ventures PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Create and issue purchase orders for all videotape assets, foreign language dubbing, closed caption and subtitling, and any external editing, telecine or post audio work. Physical inspection of all delivered materials ensuring that the department receives the materials that have been ordered, update all department tracking reports. Create and maintain spreadsheets and logs for arrival and delivery of assets; review program schedules and create Schedule Board cards for all assets; monitor program schedule changes and update schedule board cards with revised information Gather scripts of all HBO original content in order to facilitate the creation of closed caption files and language dub tracks; distribute script(s) to the vendor(s) working on the project Acquire content for Vodafone platform; track the delivery of Vodafone assets.
REQUIREMENTS Strong Communication skills, the ability to multi-task, prioritize workflow, and meet deadlines a must. College degree with a major or minor in Communications or related field required. Practical experience in film and video production or post-production and an in-depth knowledge of the film to videotape telecine process is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required. Excellent computer skills required. Must be able to work on both a Mac and PC. 2-3 years employment at a video post-production facility preferred. .
