Antenna Audio is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Discovery Communications, Inc. and is the worlds leading producer of interpretive audio tours and other interpretive audio programs. Clients include the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Louvre, the British Museum, Alcatraz, the Getty Museum and many others. Our award-winning productions combine oral histories, interviews, original music and sound effects. Our services include operations management, marketing and multiple-language translations. The position is located in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The Account Manager manages & oversees Antenna Audios comprehensive audio guide program for The Metropolitan Museum of Art. This individual is Antenna Audios primary representative at the Met and is ultimately responsible for insuring that all of Antenna Audios commitments to the Met are fulfilled on time and to the clients full satisfaction. This position is responsible for the overall project including sales and marketing, client relationship, financial analysis and accounting, and some operational supervision. Works closely with the Creative team to insure client satisfaction and completion according to project schedules. S/he must be adept at managing simultaneous, multiple projects in order to meet deadlines, and must have excellent management, organizational, communication and business skills. In due course, there may be other client relationships and projects to manage in addition to the Met. Responsibilities: 1. Manage client relationship, including adherence to contract, and proposing new business. 2. Manage all aspects of the audio program working in tandem with Creative, Technical, Business Development and Account Management departments as well as with the client to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget and to the full satisfaction of the client. 3. Create, update, communicate and oversee multiple, simultaneous project schedules. 4. Communicate orally and in writing with client management and staff to ensure the highest level of client service needs are met. 5. Cultivate and maintain productive and professional work relationships with client. 6. Hold regular meetings with the client to provide updates on the programs performance and solve on-going issues. 7. Provide on-going and regular written information reports. 8. Create and implement project marketing strategies that maximize project revenue. 9. Create, manage and analyze project budgets and finances. (P&L) 10. Closely monitor, analyze and maximize project revenue for audio program. 11. Oversee the programs design requirements and coordinate implementation with clients Design department. 12. Perform other duties as required. Requirements: * A well-rounded liberal arts education with BA/BS, graduate degree a plus, * At least 3-5 years experience in client services, project or account management, * Museum or art world, marketing, event coordination experience are valuable, * Solid business & financial acumen a must, * Client-first mind set, diplomatic and tactful, * Ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees, client and vendors, * Proven project management & strategic marketing skills including budget management and analysis, * Must demonstrate outstanding presentation, communication and influencing skills, * Superior written & spoken communication and follow-up skills, * Must be able to analyze and solve problems, make decisions, and pay attention to details while maintaining a good sense of humor, * A keen analytic leaning but also possess a creative flare, * Ability to multi-task while prioritizing workloads & meeting deadlines, * Must be able to work in a virtual team environment, * Fluent computer skills (Apple environment preferred), including MS Office Suite (advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and * The legal right to work in the United States. * Must have the legal right to work in the United States
