Currently, theIndustrial and Public Sector Sales Group (IPS)has opportunities for highly self motivated & passionateAccount Directorsresponsible for expanding Alcatel-Lucent’s IPS in the Transportation sector.

Candidate must have intimate knowledge of the Transportation sector in the US. Agencies include MBTA, NY MTA, Port Authority, Chicago Transit, LIRR and Metro North. Candidate must have a working knowledge of communications technology such as MPLS, VoIP, various Transport technologies and CCTV. Candidate must be able to show success in developing and selling “large scale” Integration projects to government agencies and have current relationships which can be leveraged in furthering sales of ALU into this sector. Candidate must be able to develop working relationships with a number of partners and act as the focal point in forming focused teams to pursue large integration opportunities that require multiple technologies and market experts. This position is heavily focused on Business Development of large scale integration projects which may span multiple years to develop, close and implement.

Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years experience selling into various agencies in the Transportation space. A solid understanding of Alcatel Lucent’s Enterprise Solutions Portfolio a distinct advantage. Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Alcatel-Lucent is an equal opportunity employer.
