Posting Job Title (2) P/T WIP Specialists (Flushing) TimeWarner Division Time Warner Cable Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 87992BR Position Type Part Time Posting Job Description Essential Job Functions Will be expected to be responsible for the timely handling of installation calls, close installation work orders timely and accurately in accordance with approved department procedures, and verify that installers have completed basic trouble shooting in the event of no picture. Additionally, Work in Progress Representative will be responsible for Customer Support of Cable TV, High Speed Data and Digital Phone Customers. All customer support is conducted via telephone in a high-volume call center environment. WIP Representatives support all products for Time Warner Cable customers in NYC. Scope of technical support will range from basic connections, troubleshooting various cable boxes and roadrunner issues as well as digital phone services. The position will also include additional duties as assigned Job Requirements/Qualifications Must have an Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college; or technical school or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Also required is PC literacy, strong verbal communication skills, and ability to problem-solve and think logically. Previous call center experience a plus. Desire to work in fast paced, rapidly evolving environment. Have the ability to work with minimal direction, as a team member or alone. Must be adaptable to flexible schedules based on call center needs.
