Description Position Available:Interactive Video Intern (Fall 2008) - Hot 97 If you are a student majoring in Film/ Video/ Visual Arts/ Media Studies or Marketing, this just may be the opportunity for you! Were looking for candidates with a passion for Film, Video, Music and the Arts to assist the Marketing, Promotions Department at WQHT HOT 97.1New York. All internships will be verified. Students must provide a letter from the school/university verifying that they will receive academic credit for the Fall internship. Ideal Candidates: Students must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate school. Candidates should have knowledge of Videography, Radio, and Music, outgoing, responsible, hard working, and a team player. Criteria: Knowledge of Video cameras- i.e. Panasonic & Sony 24p mini dv camcorders, Canon XL2 Some knowledge of non-linear editing systems (i.e.: Final Cut Pro/ Avid) Knowledge of lighting and audio tools Hunger and determination is a must! Job Description: Assist with video recording & editing footage from station events, community initiatives, and special sales projects. Assist in raising awareness of the station and creating a passion for the HOT 97 Brand through Video/ Film and interaction with clients, sales initiatives and listeners.
