Oncology specialists will be responsible for dissemination of clinical and reimbursement information about Lilly Oncologys products and services for patients with cancer to healthcare professionals including medical oncologists, oncology nurses, office managers, pharmacists, payers and managed care organizations. Primary responsibility will be for GEMZAR (gemcitabine hydrochloride) and ALIMTA (pemetrexed). The selling approach will be scientific in nature and require a strong patient management/disease management approach. KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:

* Achieve sales growth in the territory, which results in exceeding sales expectations * Effective territory management as it relates targeting, frequency, message and programs * Must be able to establish and maintain relationships, trust and credibility with Oncologists * Must be viewed by oncology community as a resource, ensure product availability, ensure product availability in hospitals, managed care, and cancer clinics * Conduct analysis on oncology portfolio and market trends (evaluate and act) and develop and implement territory business plans * Provide Business/economic support to institutions and office practices, provide business/economic support to offices regarding drug purchases, communicate reimbursement procedures, must communicate current reimbursement procedures and provide assistance for offices, establish Lilly Oncology reputation in key academic institutions and leading cancer centers * Teamwork across biad, district, region and business unit MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* EDUCATION: Bachelors degree, Minimum 2.75/4.0 Cumulative GPA in undergraduate degree

* GPA minimum does not apply to candidates with 10 or more years of work experience since their undergraduate degree was obtained * GPA minimum does not apply to former Lilly employees

* EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience and/or deep therapeutic knowledge in Oncology.

* SPONSORSHIP: Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Eli Lilly and Company does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position. ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES: PLATFORM SKILLS:
