Description: Reputable Aerospace manufacturing company is in need of a Machine Shop Shipping and Receiving Manager. This person MUST have a machine shop background. The Shipping and Receiving Manager's primary responsibilities include shipping and logistics coordination, managing personnel and working closely with the Quality Control, Purchasing and Production Departments to ensure that the Company's quality and on-time delivery standards are not compromised. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Supervise receiving, storing, and processing of material and the filling and shipping of orders. Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels on finished goods, raw material, and packaging materials. Manage received goods and outside processing for accurate counts a minimum turn around time. Assure that quality standards are maintained through proper training of employees and inspection of both products and processes. Provide for proper control of inventory.
