Support the balance control / loss mitigation initiatives for the pre-delinquent customer segments within the bankcard portfolio through the following: * Partner with Marketing, Collections, Operations, and Customer Engagement teams to drive implementation of various payment incentive programs. Responsibilities include preparing credit criteria, providing volume and financial/NCL forecast, auditing execution, and keeping senior management updated about program status, funding and resource needs, etc. * Team with other analysts to develop / refine the segmentation scheme within the pre-delinquent universe for differential/customized loss mitigation treatments. Skills needed for this include: SQL/SAS programming, segmentation through CHAID analysis, etc. * Assist in the R&D process for new offer development through designing/driving the test of new offer ideas, test performance tracking, on-line competitive research, and supporting on TPR related work * Leverage various customer communication channels (Marketing, OBTM, Customer Services, Sales Leveraging, E-Business, Collections, Credit Early Warning Operations, etc.) to drive timely and flawless delivery of the offers Other responsibilities include performing ad hoc analytics/researches requested by senior management as a result of portfolio MIS review, regulatory scrutiny, or industry/competitive study, and presenting recommendations accordingly. The person will interact with many key business areas at various sites.

Specifications / Qualifications * BA/BS in a quantitative discipline (MS/MBA preferred) * 3+ years financial services experience * Strong analytic skills (e.g. segmentation, modeling or simulations) * Advanced spreadsheet and programming skills (SAS, SQL) * Strong interpersonal & communication skills * Highly motivated and organized. Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment * Previous credit card and/or risk management experience is a big plus
