FreshDirect is currently seeking an experienced Mixer to join our Pastry team. This position has an early morning start time with a 40 - 50 hour work week.

Responsibilities: • Mixing recipes in a timely fashion so that other employees are ready to scale out • Communicate with production manager to receive daily order information by priority • Fill Flour, Sugar and spice bins for daily production • prepare station for next days work

Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Willingness to complete drug screening and criminal background check. • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs. • Must be able to read and understand written recipes. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus • Willingness to learn SAP (warehouse management system). • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a pastry / bakery department. • Must be able to continuously lift, twist, turn and bend. Compensation: • $8.25 - $9.25 per hour (based on experience). • Full-Time position. • Benefits package available after 6 months of employment. • Opportunities for advancement.
