Job Code: 200 Division: Field - AE Location: LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, NY US Travel Involved: None/Not Specified Job Type: Full Time Job Level: Entry Education: High school diploma or equivalent/GED Category: Bus Driver Compensation: Position Summary: Bus Drivers are responsible for driving vehicles with gross weights of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs. in areas congested with aircraft, moving and stationary vehicles and equipment as well as positioning vehicle up to aircraft requiring depth perception and ability to distinguish colors red, green, and yellow. Operate vehicles in various weather and visibility conditions. Tolerate dust, jet fumes, and a high noise level. Requirements Minimum Age:18 Education/Licenses/Experience:High school diploma or GED. Valid state drivers license with passenger endorsement. Current DMV medical certificate. Public contact experience preferred. Citizenship:United States citizenship or to possess the legal right to work in the U.S. Physical Requirements:Ability to maintain clean DMV driving record. Sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Assist handicapped passengers on and off the vehicle. Open heavy passenger bus door. Ability to work without direct supervision.
