Primary Responsibilities Include: . Functioning as Junior Originator (as assigned to a Senior Loan-Officer) . Developing and enhancing relationships with realtors, builders and other potential business-partners . Managing specific book of business . Cultivating leads and relationships that have been assigned by Senior Loan-Officer . Accepting and originating complete and accurate loan-applications . Obtaining pertinent credit- invtext-indent: -0.1in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .1in" STYLE="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px". Participating, with the Loan Officer and Home Loan Financial Center Manager, in identifying target accounts . Advising customers on suitable loan-programs . Providing price quotes . Performing pre-approvals and/or pre-qualifications . Supplying fulfillment materials

A Successful Candidate Will Have: . High school diploma or equivalent . 1+ year(s) of relevant mortgage and/or consumer lending experience . 1+ year(s) of experience originating all consumer loan types . Knowledge of local real-estate community . Proven ability to generate a minimum of 2 to 4 purchase-fundings per month . Comprehensive, working knowledge of pre-qualification principles and practices

The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess: . Bachelor’s degree . Understanding of complex selling-processes . Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Excellent organizational skills . Excellent presentational skills and the ability to exhibit and maintain a professional appearance . Ability to work flexible hours on a regular basis (with mandatory availability on weekends) . Proficiency in the use of PC software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) . Ability to effectively interact with borrowers, builders, realtors and other business partners
