JOB PURPOSE Responsible for selling one or more product lines in a geographic territory SCOPE This exempt position sells directly to referral sources, including hospitals, conducts in-services to nurses and physicians REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS May supervise account liaisons SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sales Associates spend 50%% or more of their time in a personal vehicle traveling to referral locations. Experience frequent changes in temperature. Sitting 75%% of the time, walking or standing 25%% of the time. Communicates extensively verbally and in writing. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES An Individual contributor assigned a territory or group of accounts and quota. Has fundamental knowledge of Respiratory, DME, Rehab and Enteral products and services, and customers issues and typical needs. Seeks out new referral sources and maintains productive working relationships with existing customers. Main responsibility includes developing and growing profitable business.
