Description: Drug Safety Surveillance Training Manager



The Drug Safety Surveillance Training Manager leads the continued development of individual and organizational capability within Drug Safety Surveillance by contributing to, and managing the overall departmental training plan. This plan specifies the knowledge and skills, which are essential among the employee base for the accomplishment of critical business objectives and for continued compliance with FDA and international drug safety regulations. The role of the Drug Safety Surveillance Training Manager is especially critical in view of continuously evolving competency requirements which result from work process improvements, the application of new technology, changing safety regulations, new trials and products, distinctive strategic business partnerships, and new performance expectations which result from planned organizational transition. The Drug Safety Surveillance Training Manager will require planned and periodic travel to work with Drug Safety Surveillance team members located in northern New Jersey and midwest. Duties and Responsibilities include: address skill-gaps identified through planned individual assessment activities by developing and delivering formal, structured training modules. This training is essential to address the important quality premises that are the basis for the new, streamlined case processing workflow. These modules may encompass such content areas as: improved knowledge of medical terminology, product knowledge across the company
