Description Ensure the appropriate protection of BASF personnel, property, and assets. Monitor day-to-day security operations. Responsible for the safe and secured delivery of high value materials from various BASF Catalysts locations throughout the east coast. Monitor all CCTV and access systems. Operate metal detection and x-ray systems. Monitor ingress and egress of personnel, vehicles, and property. Work effectively with customers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure effective security throughout the operation. Attend firearm classes every two years to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations.

Qualifications This position requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years prior military, security or law enforcement experience. Broad knowledge of security systems to include access control, CCTV, etc. Working knowledge of security and asset protection. Knowledge of transportation regulations including Hazmat training certifications. Clean driving record (no motor vehicle accidents, speeding violations, etc.). Must have current valid NJ Firearms Carry Permit - and have the ability to obtain a New York Carry Permit once hired. Computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Must be willing to work scheduled overtime.
