Reverse Mortgage Area Sales Manager
Primary Responsibilities Include: . Directing the hiring, development, training and management of the Dedicated Reverse Mortgage Loan Consultant Sales staff . Working with the Reverse Mortgage Corporate Marketing and Sales Support staff to identify opportunities to increase the effectiveness of the Sales Force . Overseeing and managing the Dedicated Retail Sales staff . Developing Sales Mentoring and Coaching Strategies . Researching and developing Tactical Sales Strategies by region . Working closely with CMD Regional Management to increase HLC Reverse Mortgage market penetration . Maintaining current knowledge of Reverse Mortgage product, industry activities and Senior Consumer profile/needs . Remaining conversant with current Reverse Mortgage Lending Programs and Underwriting guidelines . Remaining conversant with current trends in the local marketplace with regard to Real-Estate Sales, Property Values, Lender activity and competition . Identifying and developing and Affinity Business Partners as potential Production Referral Sources for Reverse Mortgage Loans . Reviewing activities and production results with Reverse Mortgage Loan Consultants on a monthly and quarterly basis . Monitoring and updating plan goals and providing summary reports to Senior Management on statuses of Strategic Plan Initiatives, Sales efforts and Production
A Successful Candidate Will Have: . Bachelors degree in Business or Bachelors degree plus industry-related experience . 7+ years of related experience . 2+ years of Reverse Mortgage experience . 5+ years experience in Sales and Sales Management within the Mortgage and/or Financial Services industry . Experience developing and implementing targeted Marketing and Sales Plans . Comprehensive, working knowledge of Pre-qualification principles and practices . Understanding of the Selling process . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Excellent organizational and presentational skills . Ability to work flexible hours and weekends on a regular basis . Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint . Ability to effectively interact with customers and other Business Partners
