Description: Requisition Number Information Technology 108 Title Information Security Engineer City Union State NJ Country United States Job Specifications The candidate will be responsible for Information Security engineering projects under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, Security Engineering. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficient experience with the Windows Server platform including Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Terminal Services, security configuration, server hardening, and patch management. Candidates will also propose enhancements to the security architecture and lead deployment efforts as well as mature and standardize current implementations. Candidates will be expected to use their networking experience and knowledge to; Maintain firewall rulebases and implementations within in the companys corporate offices and distribution facilities; Provide technical security evaluation and end-user support of our corporate and store Security infrastructure related equipment and processes The candidate will work with all levels of management, employees, and peers, in coordinating strategic projects geared towards improving the companys security posture. Job Requirements . BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience . SANS, GIAC, or CISSP certification is preferable . A minimum of 4+ years experience as a Windows security engineer in large enterprise environments . In depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite including dynamic routing protocols . Thorough understanding of operating systems such as Windows, UNIX, and Linux, securing systems configurations and management . In depth knowledge of Windows server technologies - DNS, DHCP, authentication services (RADIUS, TACACS+, Two-factor) Terminal Services, Citrix, Internet proxy. . Understanding of application architectures such as messaging, databases, web servers, and other common applications . Experience reviewing systems security to ensure compliance with best practices, local and federal government regulations . Experience in forensics analysis and incident response, documenting, and resolving security related incidents . Experience providing technical consultation and guidance to other organizations regarding security . Experience with some or all common security products such as PIX, NetScreen, Juniper, Cisco IDS . Familiar with common vulnerability analysis tools like NMap, Nessus, and Whisker to perform TCP/IP packet level diagnoses . Experience with Ethereal, AiroPeek and other sniffer applications to perform security threat analysis on network traces Apply On-line
