Responsible for the design and engineering of power, controls and grounding and specifying electrical purchased items. 2. Tracks all electrical engineering and E&I design tasks to be completed on time and within the budgeted hours. 3. Develops and reviews the drawings with the engineers and designers assigned to the project and with the customer, updates and maintains the following, as required; a. Single Line Diagrams b. Interconnection Block Diagrams c. Electrical Power and Control Calculations d. Schematic Wiring Diagrams for Transformers, Motor Control Centers and System Control Panels e. Provides cable schedule, cabling and associated connectors, cable trays, junction boxes, etc. f. Inspection and Test Plan, and Procedures for electrical and instrument components 4. Provide coordination among QC, Manufacturing, & Electrical Designer. 5. Verifies that all E&I design items are correct in ERP. 6. Resolve electrical project comments from customers. 7. Review and check drawings developed by E&I Designers. 8. Checks connections and test wiring. Develops a punch list and performs functional checks. 9. Assists QC, Purchasing and Sales Dept. for resolving all hardware issues. 10. Assists Project Engineer in preparing electrical documentation for customers. REQUIREMENTS: 1. BS degree in Electrical Engineering 2. Proficient in Microsoft Office 3. Proficient in AutoCad 2D 4. Programming experience with PLC - Siemens and/or AB desirable. 5. Knowledge of Control & Power Instruments. 6. Knowledge of low and medium voltage applications.
