Description: Boiler Operator Job Description: Our client is seeking a boiler operator for their S. Hackensack facility.

- High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum Black Seal high pressure steam boiler operator license - Experience with overall plant services - Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance techniques - Strong mechanical aptitude with hands on experience. - Ability to work independently in a team environment - Monitor boiler operations and maintain required logs - Identify and correct any boiler operating problems - Monitor daily utility equipment operations and ensure correction of any mechanical problems including chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, hot oil systems and chill glycol systems. - Monitor plant fire systems and implement any required PM - Implement required utility equipment PM tasks - Support maintenance in repairs of minor process equipment when needed - Adhere to all safety and site maintenance policies - Perform fire extinguisher inspections monthly - Maintain containment ponds at appropriate levels in conjunction with HSE - Perform equipment inspections of the Administration Building
