visitwww.dnb.com. In this position you will, successfully drive the brand of D&B by leading our VOC marketing communications strategy, planning and execution. This new role has been created in conjunction with D&B’s strategy to increase customer satisfaction, one of our measurements of being a great company. The Leader will reinforce the company’s aspiration and brand with customers in the following ways: 1) Understand how our customers’ perceive us today and create a strategy and plan to improve their perception so our customers see great value in our Brand and as a result feel greater satisfaction with D&B and want to do more business with D&B 2) Create consistent and simple customer messaging that can be used in all our customer communications, via sales people, websites and direct communications 3) Develop communication and marketing strategies to improve our customers’ perception of our information quality, so our customers believe our information is “excellent”. This will require different thinking on how we set better expectations with customers on what we have and don’t have - but more importantly how what we have is relevant to their business. 4) Evaluate all existing customer communication and marketing materials to ensure going forward we are only sending materials and messages we are proud of and that reinforce who we are from a Brand perspective
Qualifications Qualifications: * Ability to think strategically, focusing on customer outcomes to drive the day-to-day activities of those around him/her * Comfortable interacting with our Executive Team to get them engaged in our marketing communication efforts * Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the visioning, planning, budgeting, creation, execution and measurement of successful marketing communications programs * Able to articulate learnings and progress based on clear metrics for success that can be tracked daily, if applicable * Quick study of customer needs and what motivates them, with demonstrated success in segmentation and positioning * Thrive in writing-intensive communications roles with demonstrated ability to create compelling content and messages for a b-to-b customer base * Experience with an array of communications vehicles relevant for b-to-b customer bases including written, electronic, Web and forums * Experience working with external vendors and agencies, including creative, ad and research, to support communications programs. This includes contract negotiation and management of start-to-finish communications or agency involvement as a component of any individual communication. * Highly-motivated, organized, creative, self-starter with “roll-up the sleeves” mentality, who is also flexible, capable of multi-tasking and also possesses a discipline for creating high quality output * Minimum of 15 years experience in marketing, communications or public relations, with demonstrated success in the b-to-b sector.
