Panasonic is seeking a full time Trade Marketing Specialist for Panasonic Battery Corporation of America located in Secaucus, New Jersey.

The Trade Marketing Specialist will coordinate and execute the marketing plan to the customer. This position must be a strong communication for sales into headquarters.

Accountabilities and Objectives:

Assist in developing the key strategy and story? to current and potential customers for Panasonic consumer batteries.

While utilizing key data resources, analyze, and recommend to sales and management the proper actions to grow market share.

Develop pricing and P&Ls for approval management.

Provide overall category expertise to customers, sales, and management.

Develop and coordinate promotional plans with sales and marketing.

The ideal candidate will need to research and recommend appropriate sales solutions and opportunities to develop categories.

Must be able to work independently and have the discipline to focus on their objectives.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree (B.A.) (Marketing, Business Administration preferred, but not required) from a four-year college or university

With career experience that includes four years of Customer Management, Trade Marketing as it pertains to the consumer packaged goods industry.

Working with syndicated data bases such as Nielsen and or IRI is strongly preferred.

Communications:

This position will support all trade channels to include Food, Drug, and Convenience classes of trade. Experience in this area is required.

This position will have exposure to all groups internally because they will be coordinating sales and marketing activities.

Ability to travel is required for this position: Up to 30%% travel
