Position Description Responsibilities include relationship development and a focus on setting up appointments with senior decision makers of the largest financial institutions across the US to present NYCE payment services. The Sales Executive is responsible for developing opportunities to stimulate the growth of the NYCE Network beyond the normal sales growth curve. A major responsibility includes relationship development with Metavante business affiliates to cross sell into key relationships that include Metavantes Core & EFG customers. Responsibilities also include the preparation and management of all the necessary sales requirements needed for new customer meetings. Additional responsibilities include: - To prepare sound business proposals for all new participants, while encouraging every new client to exclusively route POS & priority route ATM transactions to NYCE over other regional network brands. - To encourage these prospects to join the NYCE Network; to expand the existing NYCE geography; to extend the NYCE brand; to use the full menu of debit services thereby growing NYCEs revenue, ATM locations and card base. - To effectively manage a sales quota during the year that generates the necessary current year and overall contract value (CV) revenue every 12 months. The Debit Sales Executive responsibilities include the preparation and development of various sales proposals, presentations and marketing price comparison modeling as required. The employee needs to have experience in maintaining the necessary introductory sales letters, presentations and a library of sales documentations. A technical ability is needed to maintain the necessary computer skills and knowledge of a variety of PC softwares including power point & Excel. In addition the Sales Executive needs to poses the necessary business writing skills to respond in a highly professional manner regarding all external correspondence with the customer and an ability to prepare concise and coherent client call reports Responsibilities of a Debit Sales Executive include the preparation / review of all required weekly / monthly reports and revenue projections and will participate in sales meeting as requested. The Sales Executive will be responsible for ensuring that all of the required paperwork that is prepared, including the requirements for submitting closed business during the weekly Turnover process, is complete and accurate. The Sales Executive needs a complete understanding of the necessary documentation supporting the contractual paperwork completion process for closing all categories of NYCE debit sales business. Position Requirements Must have college degree 5+ years in an outside sales related function. Exposure to shared ATM & POS Network products and marketing business Knowledge of banking and shared EFT industry Network participation, pricing & rules Telemarketing and cold calling experience with an expertise in generating an active sales prospect list. Network industry experience with a firm understanding of PIN debit payment services is a definite plus. Ability to work with minimal supervision and skills set to perform work assignments under pressure & within tight deadlines. Must have excellent communication and project management skills, including extensive PC knowledge. Ability to prepare outgoing power point presentations & proposals including an ability to respond to RFPs with experience in excel financial comparison modeling. Ability to Travel as required. The position will require additional hours (including weekends on occasion) Must be a self starter who seeks to be productive in a Shared Network sales industry. Must be a highly motivated sales individual with a solid track record in closing business A Debit Sales Executive needs to display dependability in daily attendance and adherence to non-standard work schedules as required. The Sales Executive needs to participate as an active member of the NYCE / Metavante Debit sales team. The NYCE Debit Sales Executive must work with minimal supervision while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of NYCE contracts, pricing, services and processing paperwork and NYCE Network Operating Rules. Must display a necessary understanding of the product and services while utilizing the required debit sales experience to communicate effectively with customers, potential clients, Metavante employees and NYCE employees. The Sales Executive needs to perform all of the necessary work assignments within deadlines using time management skills, prioritization skills, and effective project management skills. Must demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and interact in a highly professional and positive manner, with all levels of NYCE / Metavante management, debit sales prospects and 3rd party business relationships. The employee needs to have the necessary sales techniques and follow-up closing skills in order to sign new contracts in order to achieve the quota requirements established by the company
