Description: Regional Manager Urgent Care and Travel Medicine Services - Baltimore, MD Job Category: Healthcare Business Unit: 110 - Clinical Patient Services Location: Secaucus NJ Job Type: Regular Employment Type: Full Time Wed Jan 16 10:25:29 EST 2008 JOB SUMMARY: Support regional implementation of Urgent Care and Travel Medicine services. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary Functions: 1. Provide support for Center, Regional and Zone leadership teams in the implementation of Zone specific Urgent Care and Travel Medicine operational plans. 2. Support includes but is not limited to: Center specific requirements pre go live including facilities and space, equipment and trained staff. Workflow including PV (or other) system integration. Quality Improvement post go live, adherence to operational policies and procedures. Collection of information for contracting, credentialing, certification. 3. Coordinate with Training and Quality Assurance department to facilitate and support training initiative, but minimize overlap. 4. Act as liaison between payers or employers and operations, in cooperation with sales/service group, to facilitate contracting, patient capture, payer specific or non-standard arrangements. 5. Coordinate certification processes and activities with corporate compliance group and operations, including but not limited to Medicare, CLIA, other Urgent Care or Travel Medicine specific certifications as may be required. 6. Assist as needed with due diligence and/or operational integration of acquisition centers or programs. 7. Other as may be assigned EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Health Administration or equivalent. JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE: Management experience to recruit, select, train and coach/mentor people 3-5 Years experience in Marketing, Operations, Business Development or related field DEMONSTRATED JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Personnel and human resources experience to recruit, select, train and coach/mentor people Possesses thorough understanding of both Concentra and AMS policies and procedures pertaining to center operations, CBO, CSS, Marketing and other administrative functions. Ability to manage a disbursed, multi-site function Ability to manage and lead people coordinate teams Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals Excellent organizational skills, leadership and decision making skills Ability to communicate and interact at various levels - expert interpersonal skills Presentation skills required Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external clients Ability to gather and analyze statistical information Ability to problem solve Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be creative in solutions, designs and operational approach Sales and marketing Excellent customer service skills Recruiting and negotiating contracts Ability to manage and allocate/coordinate resources fiscal management Economics and accounting WORKING CONDITIONS: Travel to various business sites required Office environment.
