Panasonic Broadcast is a unit company of Panasonic Corporation of North America. The company is the North American headquarters of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. of Japan, and the hub of its U.S. marketing, sales, service and R&D operations.

Currently, the Panasonic Broadcast & Television Systems Company (PBTS) is seeking to hire a full time Product Manager for their AVCHD products based out of our North American Headquarters in Secaucus, NJ.

BASIC FUNCTION: Product Marketing Manager for AVCHD Products

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Develop and implement plans for PBTS to rapidly gain share from the HDV business while broadening our sales and profitability with complementary products.

2. Review current plans, results, and competitive data to determine and implement corrective programs to achieve monthly sales targets.

3. With input from PBTS Sales, Business Development, Product Engineering, and Marcom develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for each product model including target markets, distribution, pricing and programs, sales tools and training, and promotional activities.

4. Responsible for meeting or exceeding the annual Business Plan targets for sales, inventory and profit for the AVCHD product line on a quarterly basis.

5. Manage the related monthly product PSI to meet or exceed the annual BP while achieving inventory goals and increasing forecast accuracy

6. Using the Product Development tool, work with Product Engineering, Business Development, and the Factory representative to develop new product business plans to help PBTS achieve business growth and profitability targets.

7. Participate in the planning and execution of relevant trade show exhibits, events and sales training sessions.

8. Communicate with PBTS management, the BU, and Sales on a regular basis regarding plans, results and corrective actions.

MANAGEMENT: 1. Reports to the Director of Product Marketing 2. Manages and reviews the goals and activities of independent AVCHD evangelists.

PROBLEM-SOLVING: 1. Ability to analyze the market opportunity and then target and prioritize activity with the greatest impact. 2. Listens carefully to customers, team members and partners in order to identify opportunity and to overcome obstacles 3. Analyze and then present major opportunities and issues, recommended action, and alternatives to management beyond the scope of the persons decision making authority

KNOW HOW: 1. Marketing or product management 2. Some sales experience 3. College degree 4. Good technical skills and understanding 5. Ability to use Word, Excel, Power Point

COMMUNICATION : 1. Excellent communications and follow-up skills. 2. Excellent presentation skills
