Description: Job Title: JD Edwards EnterpirseOne Developer Requisition #: NY4564 Area of Interest: Information Technology Business Division: Corp-Information Technology Wkly Std Hours: 35 Days Per Week: Std Work Week (Mon - Fri) Position Type: Full-Time Regular City: Secaucus State: New Jersey Description: .Configure, code, and test the application or technical architecture components. .Work with other Developers, Testers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to make sure that that all system configurations and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals. .Follow good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities. .Participate in analysis, requirement, design, code and test plan reviews to ensure quality of requested deliverables. .Develop and execute unit test plans. .Inform the Business analyst and/or project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project. .Assist in Developing test data for Quality Assurance and User Acceptance testing. .Collaborate with the Business Analysts or assigned Test lead to prepare and execute system and user-acceptance tests. .Fix any defects and performance problems discovered during testing. .Document the application to facilitate maintenance, as well as keeping up-to-date any existing technical documents. .Document comments of what was changed, added or deleted in source code. .Design and Build to scale for future growth where possible. .Develop weekly and monthly goals based on assigned tasks. Requirements: Must have a solid understanding of the following: .Report and Application Data Structure. .JDE files and files structure. .DD, UDC and Next Numbers .Object Management Work bench and Object librarian concepts. .The various kinds of business view joins. .The sequence of event rules flow in various types of reports (i.e. Group, Tabular and columnar) and Applications. .CNC concepts and the ability to work with CNC resource(s) on various issues. .Ability to advance OMW projects through the development life cycle to production. .Ability to perform as backup for CNC for certain functions .Master Business Functions and JDE Workflow .The limitations of the JDE E1 system with respect to security, performance, customization, etc. .Run UBE Command .Conversant in C++ programming Ability to create the following: .Medium to Complex reports. .Modify Event Rule code. .Complex Business views, financial reports, Processing options and User Browse Event rules. .Create and modify Applications (FDA). .Create interfaces using Table conversions and Ubes. .Create and modify NER, C business functions and cache business functions. Create and modify JDE workflow. .Develop all kinds of forms including Power forms and Sub forms. Other skills needed: .Ability to debug JDE applications and reports via the JDE debugger debug master business functions. .Jde.logs to troubleshoot any issues. .Strong problem solving skills: able to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts to solve. .Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills are a must. .Ability to work with various levels of management, as well as end users. .Ability to mentor Junior JDE E1 developers. .Ability to work independently with minimal assistance. Good team player. Desired skills: .Minimum of five years hands on experience with JDE E1 development. .Experience with implementing JDE interoperability with XML and MQ messaging to communicate with specific exposed JDE business functions is a plus. .Languages: CL/400, RPG III, ILE RPG/400, SQL are a plus. Familiarity with the following JDE modules: .Enterprise One Financials (AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Job Cost, Real Estate, Expense Management, Multi Currency) .Enterprise One MFG .Enterprise One Procurement Technical Environment Familiarity: .DB2 on iSeries P6 .HP Vmware ESX Server Ent 3.0 (Blade configuration) .AS/400 OS: V5R4 .Current JDE Environment -E1 8.12; Tools 8.96.1.2; WebSphere 6.0.2.19
