SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY: Ø Ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree and a minimum of 5 years experience managing an HR function of a mid-sized company.
Ø Must have excellent interpersonal and external communication skills; ability to maintain smooth working relationships with all internal staff and management.
Ø This individual should provide helpful and courteous customer service to all vendors and guests and have the ability to problem solve as needed.
Ø Must be detail-orientated, ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely and professional manner, be well organized and able to prioritize efficiently, and have excellent oral and written skills. Job Description : POSITION PURPOSE:Overall responsibility for creating, managing and overseeing the New York Red Bull’s Human Resources function. This individual’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to; recruitment, compensation administration, benefits administration, employee communications, policy development, training and development, EEO/AA, workers compensation, employee wellness, and relations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ø Manage a professional human resource function for the organization by serving as a human resource generalist with expertise in all functional areas: compensation, benefits, policy development, EEO/AA, employee relations, recruitment, and OD/training Ø Provide strategic human resource leadership and direction to the management team. Keeps management advised on a need-to-know basis of significant matters such as employee morale, local labor market trends, etc. Recommends appropriate action programs as required. Ø Identifies New York Red Bull’s human resource objectives, formulates and recommends HR policies in support of them Ø Administers all aspects of the employment system. Obtains approvals to fill all vacant positions. Sets procedures. Ensures that all open positions are filled with the best qualified candidates, in a cost effective manner, consistent with our status as an equal employment opportunity employer. Coordinates interviewing activity between operating departments and HR. Serves as a consultant to management in the recruitment and selection process. Ø Manage workers compensation claims including compliance with state laws and regulations. Ø Develop, administer, and support performance evaluation and management processes. Ø Oversees new employee orientation and exit interview process. Ø Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local reporting requirements. Ø Negotiate with outside vendors for HR related resources as business needs dictate. Ø Additional duties as assigned.
