Currently, the Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company (PCEC) is looking for a National Accounts Manager for our Headquarters in Secaucus, NJ. The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for Business Management and Development for National, Super Regional and Buying Group Accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial ? Together with other HQ staff, achievement of the National net-net sales budget on a quarterly and annual basis, at or below budgeted expenditure for MCA, Rebates, DFI and other sales specific expenditures. ? Assist in the development of Sales forecasts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. ? Provides weekly report to executive management for reporting to Corporate.

Account Management ? Develops policies and tactics for increasing business from National Accounts (National Builders, Buying Groups, Large Corporate entities) for approval by Executive management. Such proposals to be in alignment with the strategic goals of the company with respect to Sales, Profit, and speed of cash. ? Management of all National, Super Regional, and Buying Groups in collaboration with respective Regional Sales Managers. ? Proposes and/or implements account strategy in consultation with executive management. Develops channel tactics ? including territory definition - based on experience and analysis of available data. Proposes promotions to Marketing to ensure achievement of short term sales goals.

Sales Activity: ? Manages a budget for development of National Accounts and Buying Groups and is responsible for attending meetings required by these groups. ? Prepare and deliver convincing sales presentations for use in front of customers by self or team members or by Executive Management to convince stakeholders within and outside the Company. ? Attend National Trade Shows. ? Acts as a leader within the sales team to adopt best practice sales techniques including CRM in a way that enhances sales effectiveness for the entire team.

REQUIREMENTS: ? MBA or proven equivalent experience ? 10+ years direct sales and/or sales management experience ? ideally in the Electrical, K&B, HVAC, or Plumbing Wholesaling industries. ? Superior knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to rapidly acquire new IT based skills. ? Ability to carry Sample product and displays into and out of customer locations (up to 40lbs) ? Negotiate construction sites unaided and be able to demonstrate product installation when necessary. ? Travel: significant travel may be required to Account sites, Trade Shows, factories in China and Japan. ? Position is located in Secaucus, NJ and, except for business trip absences, attendance at HQ is required during the normal business day. Note: an exception this requirement is possible in the case of extremely well qualified candidates but frequent travel to NJ would be required.
