Our clients E-Commerce Department is rapidly growing to meet the needs of a quickly expanding effort into online and multichannel marketing. This is an exciting opportunity to get in at the ground level of a rapidly developing department within the company. This department has significant support from the Board of Directors, who are eager to further pursue our recent explosive success on the web. Responsibilities: Work with IT & website team to support website updates, including design and coordination Provide input and ideas for improvements to website Monitor work flow and present solutions on how to improve web site operations Assist in conception & development of new functions to help customers to navigate on the web site to make customer experience ‘easy’ Review specifications and provides time estimates on the development of web projects and features Maintain and configure site Analytics Additional Information Location: S. Experience: Qualifications: • Dedicated, Self-Motivated Career Path Individual • Minimum of 3+ years experience with website content management system • Demonstrated understanding of standards-based coding, browser compatibility issues, and web design constraints • Previous experience with ecommerce website design, development and maintenance • Previous experience with a Website launch or re-launch • Proficiency in web authoring languages and protocols - HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and/or other scripting) • Proficiency with web design software (Dreamweaver) • Familiarity with Web 2.0 technologies and standards • Strong knowledge of skills key to the position, including graphic design, usability, search engine optimization (on-site factors). • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver • Proficient with Flash, Flex, AJAX, ActionScript, and Photoshop a plus • Strong knowledge of the Web and its technologies, tools, vendors, and products. • Experience working with mission critical ecommerce applications
