The candidate will participate in the design of the data and technical architecture for the CDI data model. This position will define and document the data architecture through gathering requirements from the Business Analyst and our Business Partners. Position will have responsiblities to the hiring manager as well as heavy paritication on a cross-organizational team assembled to design and develop a cross organizational Enterprise Data Warehouse. Responsibilities: . Lead the off-shore team through detailed technical requirements / specifications for: . Logical and physical data models . ETL scripts . Metadata definitions and models . Ensure that all components are properly integrated and implemented . Coach the off-shore team on the value and implications of the data . Educate business analysts and end-users on the value of the data and its associated attributes . Provide support and verify quality through all stages of implementation . Work with application architect to design Customer Data Mart in support of EDW for cross organizational reporting. . Create and maintain a robust, sustainable architecture that supports requirements and provides for future expansion given budgetary constraints and availability of data and skilled resources . Work as part of the cross-organizational data integration team to ensure adherence to standards and progress toward the long term vision of ONE single version of master data QualificationsRequired (Experience, Skills, Academic): Qualifications . 5-7 Years I.T. experience . Minimum 3 years data modeling experience including relational and dimensional (Star/Snowflake) schema designs for enterprise applications including: conceptual modeling of strategic business processes, logical/physical modeling and transformation . Erwin tool experience . Experience with ETL tools (Informatica) . Familiarity with application design a plus . DBA skills are a plus but not required. . Business Intelligence, OLAP product knowledge (e.g., Cognos, Business Objects, MS Analysis Services, Essbase, etc.) a plus . Prior knowledge of D&B and/or InfoUSA data is a plus . Strong data analysis skills required . Experience creating technical design documentation including data models, flow diagrams, data dictionaries, etc. . Experience with data integration and master data management (MDM) projects, specifically focusing on customer data . Well developed written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross organizational and offshore teams . Must have proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to deal with ambiguity .
